Spring has sprung off

Fun on the Farm

Friday Flashback

Did I blink and miss it? Spring that is…

I swear it was warm on Tuesday – I distinctly remember taking off my coat.

Today I am back to swimming again in a sea of mud and wearing multiple layers whilst feeding the stock. Even Lucy the goose was shivering.

“In like a lion, out like a lamb” is the description of March. I love lambs, I love warmth too. I can’t wait for the mud to dry and the sun to shine.

The daffodils are almost in flower and the aconites and snowdrops are just going over. I await with bated breath for the warmth to return.
